63 Ford 4000hd Industrial, hydraulic control valve o-rings

Hi, name is Jay, New to the forum and reside in a small town in west/central oklahoma. I have a 1963 Ford Industrial 4000hd with a 4 cyl gas engine. The controls for the front end loader are leaking like crazy all over my right foot. I have pulled the control valve off the tractor and discovered quite a few bad o-rings in it. Sooooo im trying to find an o-ring kit for this and I cant for the life of me. Im hoping someone can lead me in the right direction here and help me either find a kit that contains all the o-rings for this assembly or perhaps help me find an exploded view with the correct sizes so that I can try to acquire them locally.

The loader worked just fine, not a problem at all other than it leaking, looks like some fairly simple o-rings just cant find them! Any help at all is mucho appreciated, I have provided a link that contains a picture of the assembly im working with, mine is the exact same thing, just wanted to provide a picture to avoid any confusion as to what im working with here.

I will post some pics of my tractor when I get the chance, its in pretty good shape for its age and runs like a hoss.

Here is link of said pic..

the 3x5 cover / valve has it's own oring kit you can get.. but if you can't find it.. you can always just get the full top cover kit. that kit is 10-15$ depending on where you get it. the small cover kit is 5-8$ depending on where you get it.

Appreciate the response, but thats the problem, I cant find them! Any kit at all for that matter. Perhaps im overlooking them somewhere, but im not finding ANY o-rings or o-ring kits for this thing...

I dont even know what they are, as in are they metric/standard/japanese/etc????

you must not be looking very hard.

the cnh dealer sells them... this site sells them.. etc... just about any tisco dealer sells them..e tc.. same top cover and oring kit from 55-64

just to be clear.. this is the small handfull of orings that goes under the valve bolted tot he top cover.. or under the palte bolted to the top cover if you have no valve right?

this site has it for like 7$

(quoted from post at 18:41:46 09/06/13) CFPN485B is seal kit p/n. Most are square section orings. Used to be round years ago.

Where is this part number at? New holland? Sorry if I seem dumb about this, but the years that part number is for on the new holland website is not for my tractor year. 1965-70. I believe mine is a 63.

Soundguy, that looks nothing like the seals im working with. I think thats for the remote valve or whatever its called under the seat, if you look at the pic in the link i posted, im working with the control valves for the front loader. Has 6 or 7 hydraulic hoses connected to the bottom of it, and 2 levers for the bucket...Or am I missing something here? I can post pics of the tractor and what Im looking for if needed.

#1 on that list of parts is the kit, o-rings, #Pa 108577

I would confirm the part numbers on your specific control valve match the cnh diagram

Gotcha, but that part number had me confused because when you click on it it says a quantity of 3, wasnt sure if thats the whole kit or if its just 3 o-rings or the set of 3 o-rings for each quadrant? I have a newholland dealer here in the state that i'll contact and see what he says. Cant believe how little of information there is out there about these control valve assemblies, I have searched countless archived posts on here and other places with no luck on a definitive part number for such a kit.

Had to piece out each individual o-ring and leather washer through my newholland dealer, there is no kit, at least not that ive found and definitely not on the website. However, for future reference, ALL of these o-rings are still stocked, a lot of the hard parts have been discontinued, but any newholland dealer should have them or be able to get the o-rings. You will just have to go through the list and have them pull each one and label it to be certain where it goes. There are a LOT of different size o-rings specific to there location, get one wrong and youll be in a world of hurt trying to trace it down.

Best of luck to anybody that finds themselves trying to rebuild one of these lol... Pm me if you have any questions. Unfortunately, I know it like the back of my hand now! Theres no doubt that more of these are out there leaking all over someones right foot, if ya stumble across this thread, pm me and ill help ya avoid the bs.
