1971 Ford Lawn Tractorm

My belt has exploded into pieces, nowhere in the 2 manuals I have (orginal Ford manuals) do they mention the lenght of the belt...

Does anyone know this information or where I can find it?

New holland website still has parts drawings for most of those lawn tractors. If you know the model # of your tractor you can look it up and likely find the belt size.
Type your model # in the search box and see if they have it.
The parts diagrams are slow to load so be patient.

Your tractor has no belt. Your mower deck has two. If its a 42" deck like mine it will use a 1/2" x 82" for the blades and, a 1/2" x 80" for the drive. Although for some reason I had to use a 1/2" x 78" to get a good fit on my drive. If its a 50" deck it will use a different blade belt.

Maineman a "71 model 10,12,and 14hp will have a single belt on a 42" aluminum deck and one to the trans and one for the starter/gen. Don"t remember how long. They were in the new Holland online parts
