I just finished restoring my 661. I know that the color is not right but I love it. I don"t like the red on the 601s. Like the elderly lady said when she kissed the cow everybody to their own taste. I have had a lot of questions and I would like to thank everyone one this forum for all the good help.

Well Carl, that's one fine job you did. I like the paint too, the tin looks better to me in gray. Is that red from the NAA and 600 series? Beautiful tractor!-Will

Great looking tractor Carl! A lot of work and attention to detail.
I always say it's your tractor, paint it any color you want.
You at least chose a Ford paint scheme, instead of green and yellow! :)
I like the red belly look better than the "all red" as well.

Great job Carl. Just call it an early 601 and get people thinking, LOL. I appreciate especially the red starter and the plated lug nuts.

I got my paint from n complete it is supposed to be the exact paint. I trust them they remanufactor Ford tractors.

Great job Carl! She looks real good!

Where did you get the steering wheel (covered spoke) or what p/n did you use?

Chris

Well done Carl. I have always liked the "Red Belly" colors. You've done a fantastic job. I wish my 660 looked half that good!

I think it looks sharper with the contrast, I like both color schemes but this one always wins hands down, 2 beautiful old Ford hundred series on this forum page, great to see it posted and a happy owner LOL !!!
