Ford 3000 oil leak

I have a 66 Ford 3000 diesel and just changed all
fluids (crankcase, transmission, rear end). I ran
the tractor for a couple hours and when I parked
it, I had a pretty good drip coming from the area
around the back of the oil pan. I can't tell if
its the oil pan gasket or the joint between the
engine and transmission.
The leak lasts a couple minutes after shutdown
then stops.
Any ideas?
I don't know why it would be the oil pan gasket
all of a sudden, but if it is, can I just tighten
the bolts in that area (within reason) or should I
stick to torque specs? What are the torque specs
for the oil pan?

Always try the simple things first.
Tighten the pan and see if that helps.
Shop manual says 20-24 foot lbs torque.
If that doesn't stop the leak then it's either your rear engine oil seal or your tranny input seal/s.
Neither are hard to repair but will require a split to renew.
You can usually inspect and or smell the leaked oil to determine if it is engine or tranny oil though with fresh oils it may be difficult to tell.

Thanks Ultradog,
If it was one of the main seals, wouldn't I see the oil coming out of the hole with the cotter pin?

Generally yes.
Wiggle the cotter pin around a bit and see if any oil comes out. Could be enough crud on the inside to have blocked the drain hole.
