Front Tires Rubbing

I had posted earlier about the front tires rubbing on the pedestal on my Ford 960 . I jacked up the front and shook each wheel. The bearings seem to be good. The tires rub when the front wheels are turned. What would cause that?

Turn your rims dish out until you can get new tires if you need them.
Yeah, it looks dumb and puts a little extra strain on the bearings.
At least that way it won't ruin your tires and paint.
Then you can sell or re-use the non-damaged tires.
Probably should keep air in them though. ;)

Turned in, as in remove one wheel, reverse it so what was the back side is now facing out and re-attach it, then do the same to the other wheel. This will only work if the rims are already "dished in" so that the offset has them more toward the center of the pedestal. If they are already dished out, so the offset has them more away from the pedestal, then reversing them will make the rubbing worse.

That is what I was thinking. I am going to take a wheel off my 860 which has 600-16 tires and see how it works.
