the three point hitch will not raise up at an ilde anymore i have to rev up the motor to get it to raise the hyd oil is full and new is there a screen in the hyd sump thanks

There is no screen. The hydraulic pump is located at the rear of the engine on the right side. Does the pump look kinds square with an adjustment on the front? (vane style pump) Or does it look kinda round with a 3/8s pipe plug towards the top front?(piston type pump) Sound like you have a vane style pump. and your indication suggests that it is wore out. I believe parts are still available for the vane pump,( short life) but very expensive. Most change over to the piston style pump,(longer life and cheaply repaired) and in so doing ,will need the proper hyd lines for the piston pump also

Depends how far you want to go on a rebuild. Replacing the shaft seal and the check valves seats takes some know how and patience. Sounds as if your check valves springs and/or spring guide pins are the problem. Take the head off the pump and have a look see. Pump rebuild kits are available from several sources including this site has a $35.93 . Would give you a link if I was 60 years younger, which makes me computer illiterate

pressure test it. put a 0-3000 psi gauge in the plug in the option cover, chain the lift arms down.. reg it, and then run the lift up, rpms up. see what pressure it makes ont he gauge vs relief.

ps.. if it has a huge leak in the pressure / cyl side of the circuit.. that may be the issue too.. as you are bleeding off the oil as fast / faster than it 'makes' it.

that said. the vane pump usually gets changed out.. etc..
