ford 960 value (clicking noise from clutch)

The tractor hasn't been run in a couple years so it is going to need some work. It has brand new tires all the way around but they are getting bleached from the sun. Narrow front no power steering. Sheetmetal is in good shape minus the fenders that are rusting out. Apparently the clutch makes an occasional clicking noise when driving around. No slipping or anything. Location is central ohio. Any ideas on what it's worth or what is causing the clicking noise? Thanks ahead of time

when does it make this noise? when depressing the clutch? or does it make a noise when running and engaged?

He says that he didn't think It made the noise in neutral or when the clutch was pressed down. Only when it was moving around. Also that it wasn't constant. Every once in a while there would be a click.

yuo are gonna need alot mor ethan that to go on.

in neutral.. the pilot bearing is still turning.. so that's not it.

cluitch pushed it the TOB.. that ain't it.

at this point could be ANYTHING

check the rear lugs and center bolts.. they can click..

960? Rowcrop?.Wander if the PARW clamps are tight. That wouldn't be noise from the clutch area but it has been two years since he heard it? Right?

What would be the parw clamps? That is true it could be the wheels...I was thinking in the $600 range. It is the rowcrop with the 5 speed and two stage clutch.

Well I worked out a deal and here are some pictures. I'm taking the tractor and going to get it running again so I can check it over properly. If I don't want it I can bring it back and I'll get paid for my parts and labor or I can buy the tractor for $500! He also has a wagner loader for the 8n that he wants to get rid of if anyone is interested. It will be in the photo ads...
