Steering cylinder

Need help finding out why my ford 3000 keeps bending the steering cylinders. I am on my 3rd one and it is hurting my pocket book. Any suggestions would be geatly appreciated. Is there an adjustment? am I turning the wheels to sharp?

This problem has been discussed here before and no one has ever been able to figure out why it happens.
I have the same tractor/steering and after reading about others having this problem I never hold the steering wheel against the stop.
I will turn till I bump the stop but then back off of it about 1/6 of a turn. That 1/6 doesn't make much of a difference in your turning radius anyway... Takes conscientiousness to remember to back it off but at most of $250 for a new cylinder it behooves you to pay attention.
Wish I could help more.
