NAA PTO Clutch problem

The PTO clutch on my NAA has stopped working. The pump is flowing fluid so I suspect the something in the clutch pack has given out. Does anyone have an exploded parts diagram or schematic?

I suspect this will be a long down time and I want to be able to use the tractor, what is the piece called that connects the transmission drive shaft to the transaxle? Does anyone know where to get one?

Could someone point me to a good guide for splitting a tractor? I don't think I can remove the clutch pack without splitting the tractor.

Thank you everyone, in advance, for your wisdom and sage advice.

An NAA does not have a PTO clutch as such. The clutch on an NAA works the transmission and the PTO at the same time so if you have no PTO action and have forward gears then the coupler behind the PTO lever maybe bad

do you have the very rare live pto hyd clutch pack on your naa? if you do, you need to tell us, as 99.98 % of the other naa out there don't have it.. :) and only have tranny non live pto as old mentions.

To clarify, I am not talking about the foot pedal operated clutch that interrupts power from the engine to the transmission. I am talking about the clutch located directly under the hydraulic cover and operated by a lever located left of the seat. It also has a small hydraulic pump that attaches behind the main piston pump and forward of the proofmeter cable.

Is this that rare only .02% tractors have this? How rare is my tractor with a Sherman hi-lo and selectrol valve and the PTO clutch? I just thought it was a normal occurrence.

Sherman combination transmissions in NAA model tractors are not rare.

Working so-called "live PTO" systems are.

as dean said.

optional add on sherman are not rare.

the optional add on selectrol valve is a tad rare for the naa.. hard to find / pricey if not rare.

the live pto.. .. is rare.

all are dealer options / after market..e tc.

normally naa rolled off the line with a foot clutch and non live pto.. etc..
