9700 oil filter problem. Can I change to spin on?

Our 9700 Ford has a cartridge oil filter that for years, have had a problem with it leaking. Is there a trick to keep them from leaking or does anyone know if they make a adapter for a spin on filter and where I might get one? Thanks for any help.

My 9000 has a spin on and I am pretty sure that I saw a kit in the parts book.

One from any TW 5-25 should work.

A&I tractor parts has them. They can be found on ebay also.

We had problems years ago and my dad found out the center of the filter can where the hollow bolt tightens to the block was dished in from over tightening it . Somehow he pounded it back out and it fixed the leaking problem.
