In regard to my post back on 6/20 about my Ford 3000 stalling out under load - the solution was the fuel line. Over the years several fuel screens had apparently busted off the fuel shutoff valve (I had to fish 4 out of the tank). When I replaced the existing shutoff valve, I found a dead hornet jammed into it blocking flow - but wait, it gets worse. The next step was the fuel lifting pump which was completely jammed full with another hornet and debris. The suction line to the pump was also packed with debris. With the fuel lines cleaned out, we ran it for 10 hours with no problem.
