Rich, If you have or get one of those little $2.98 transfer siphons from the hardware, you can steel it around the bottom of the tank while sucking. This way you can get most of the water and crud while you siphon. Then if you have it siphoned into milk jugs you can pour the good gas off leaving behind the water and crud on the bottom.

I used dry gas in lawn mower tanks. You have to shake the mower to get the water to mix with the alcohol.Hard to shake a tractor. You can get water out of gas by running it thru a milk filter disc.Wet the filter with gas first and it will stop water.I always let the mowers run to get rid of the water gas mix. Some dry gas has methanol in it that will attack zinc based castings.

Easy to shake a gas tank on a tractor just drive it LOL but the HEET did not work found that out real fast. Got the tank drained and then used a rag to soak up what did not drain plus got a good bit of rust out with the rag
