I have ran ford farm tractors,as well as lawn tractors my whole life. my 89' ford lawn tractor has seen better days and its getting time to replace soon.. ive always had good luck with ford, and they seem to be fairly well built.. i have to go to the new holland dealer to pick up parts and thought i would look at there new lawn tractors and possibly get serious about buying but i have head they have discontinued the line...is this true??? if not i need feedback...if so,what would be a good second choice?? thanks for any help...

Very true. The top man decided that New Holland didn't need to be in the business. So, as a loyal customer, you'll have to go somewhere else.

Many of the New Holland dealers have picked up Bad Boy.

No, but they do sell CUTs.

My NH/Kubota dealer sells Cub Cadet and various brands of ZTs.

I don't know if Ford/ NH EVER made lawn tractors. They rebranded a pile of Gilson, Jacobsen and Toro over the years, though.

I run a Ford LGT14D. It is a great machine. The closet thing to this on the market today is a Kubota. Like others have said, my New Holland Dealer sells Kubota, cub cadet, and bad boy. You may not be able to stay loyal to the brand, but you may be able to stay loyal to your local dealer.

Looks like they gave up on the Toro's in 2004. The Shibaura built LGT 14D/16D production ended in 1991

My 1974 Ford LGT is a rebranded Jacobsen.
Not that its a bad thing, its still running and working great!
