Jubilee 861 Clutch stuck together ( I think )

I think my clutch stuck together during the winter months while not in use.
It is a Jubilee 861 ( 1957 model sr# 10743 )
I have adjusted my brakes up, got it going, stood on the clutch and the brakes at the same time to pop the clutch open, but no luck.
Any advice ?

Before someone jumps on you, allow me to inform you that a "Jubilee" is a model 1953 NAA. Your 861 was built sometime between late 1957 and 1962, and is not a Jubilee.

That said, you can probably pop it loose by driving it around in 5th gear while applying the brakes with the clutch disengaged. Shock loading and patience will help.

As Dean says if it is an 861 that means it is a 801 series.
As for the clutch common problem with tractors and if you can run it in a safe area where you can take it for a long drive do so with as heavy a load on it that you can and hold the clutch pedal down till it frees up. Then when you park it block the pedal down so it does not stick again

Thanks Dean and Old. I will take both advices.
On the left side of the transmission case, behind the starter, I see 861-L. I think that means that it was an LP gas type at first, but someone changed it out to a gasoline model and the added gas tank isn"t factory, but everything works fine.
I didn"t know that an 861 wasn"t called a Jubilee though, thanks.

Jerry,if you care to, you can check out John Smith's wonderful web site. It tells you al you'll ever need to know about how to identify old (pre-1965) Ford tractors here:

Or you can opt for the shorter version, which is still pretty complete, here:

Standing on the brakes doesn't give the shock load like jumping on the brakes hard. As Dean said try to get into high gear and then while holding the clutch down keep jumping on the brakes hard. Don't hold the brakes down just jump on them and release over and over until the clutch releases. We had a customer bring in an NAA two weeks ago to have us split it for a stuck clutch and I had it unstuck within 25 feet using this method. We lost the job of splitting the tractor but he had us do other work that was needed since he didn't have to pay for splitting the tractor.

This is the first time I recall that I've ever seen anyone post here with a stuck "double clutch" that's used in the X6X tractors. Mine's never gotten stuck and it's parked under a shed- not in a garage.

Thanks to all of you. Everyone is offering so much good advice and all are on the very same page. When I get a chance to apply this remedy I will let you know how it came out.
For the record, I did try to apply the brakes while holding the clutch down, but I didn"t "jump" on them continuously as recommended. That will be the next trick I will use with the bush hog setting close to the ground. Perhaps that will be a good enough load.
