5 bow canopies for Ford 3000 4610

I have a Ford 3000 (1973) that has a sort of flat top fenders. I have a 5 bow canopy on it. I looking at getting a 4610 (1983) that has the clam shell type fenders like the 8N"s have. Will my canopy fit this tractor?

You don't give us a lot of information. Ford did sell a canopy for the 3000 series, but I don't know off-hand if it was 4 or 5 bows. Is your canopy a factory one from Ford? If not, or if you don't know, how does it mount to your current fenders? Are you looking to move it permanently from one tractor to the other? If so, you'll probably have to do some measuring to see if the mounting brackets will fit on the new fenders. If you want to be abe to move the canopy back and forth betwween the two tractors, you will probably need to find soem used brackets for the second tractor or fabricate some.

I bought my canopy from nnalert Tractors. It mounts on the inside of the fenders with a channel like metal that goes up on the fender and bends outward. Then there is a second piece that bolts onto it and bends upward and the canopy mounts on to it with a wing nut. You can loosen the wing nut and lower the canopy. The five bows also fold down. The wing nut mounting flange is slotted so you can adjust the canopy to your liking.
