most likely what the others said about the clutch.. however.. i think i'd pull the shaft for a looksee.. even though it will drain the rear 2 sumps oils.

i've seen a shaft on a N shear past the pump and freewheel from contact betweent he halves.. but there was enough thrust bearing play that 'hand' pressure would stop it and make it gall and grind at the shaft break.

hyds worked.. :) since damage was post pump. :)

probably not it. worth looking if it beeds an oil change...

Thanks I have pulled the shaft checked it the shift lever and collar all seem good. So it looks like I am clutch bound. If I buy a new clutch do I still need a adjustment fixture for it or should it come in proper and just use a line up tool for the pilot bearing.
