trying to install trumpet and axel have the axel in trumpet and lined up with the stud bolts but will not go in any more

end of axle look god and not mushroomed / no burs?

axel end looks ok will try to spin

axel is started in trans but will not go enough to get trumpet on studs would it be safe to tap very easy on housing also i did put a little grease on axel

mild tapping should be fine.. might just be a bur holding you up.

make sure you are going in true / squsre / perp with axle..e tc..

pulled axel out to check for a bur and the gear it was in came out with it
