The 8970 starter is making noise when starting and sometimes kicks out and just spins. Seems to be worse when cold as it was this weekend. Bendix or solenoid problem? Just started to happen the last 2 cold starts. Once warm it works fine. Does the fuel filter need to come out to pull the starter?
