RE: Jubilee Hydraulics

It seems I"m missing some parts in the hyd system. The clip that holds the Back Pressure Valve to the bolt on the side cover is missing and there was no "O" ring where the valve seats against the lift cylinder. Are these parts available and does someone have a diagram how this all looks when put together? Any help is much appreciated, Thanks!

Threaded piece with screwdriver slot is supposed to stay with backpressure valve, but in some pictures here it stated with acorn nut. Tightening slotted part presses BP valve against rubber washer on lift assy.

Thanks JMOR for the pictures. That helps with the back pressure valve location. Mine was wedged in the suction outlet in the bottom of the center section. According to the info in the manual that's a NO-NO. I'm still wondering about the "O" ring in the port on the side of the cylinder where the valve seats. Anybody have any pictures and size of "O" ring info?

tend to call it more of a washer or gasket than an O-ring, but maybe that is just me. If looking in parts catalog, it is a bit difficult to find as they put it NOT under hydraulics, but under rear end housing parts list. # NAA964A

Thank you for all the information JMOR. I was able to find the "Hydraulic lift safety gasket" in one of my parts catalogs. I would never have found it without the part number you provided.

lad to be of help. I would guess that it may not have been operating for some time. If so, you should at the very least make sure that the unloader valve is free to move while you are in there. Notorious as a sticking valve.

It appears the unloading valve is the older style that is without the "O" ring. I inquired on another site about replacing it and was told I probably wouldn't be able to find one, but it does move freely. The 3 pt. did work some but not very good in lifting my back blade this past winter.

Why are the photos not shown? What is the photobucket and does it block the photos?

Thanks for info

Photobucket is no longer free, you now have to pay for 3rd party hosting.

nd not just a few $! $400 per year! No thanks!!!

Why use photobucket? Can you not just paste or insert photos into the message?

I am new on this webpage and don't know anything about photobucket. Could someone please explain this. I have a 53 jubilee with lift problems and I am trying to figure out what it is.

Thanks

Here's a site you might want to try.

Will this open archive photos?

Thanks

I don't know, you'll just have to play with it.
f archive photos are Photobucket, then nothing will open those unless the guy that placed them there forks over the $400 per year that Photobucket demands.

You can do what I did with what few pics I had on there.
I just saved the actual pic (not the URL) to a folder for future use.
Not going to use any free site to store like I did for a while.

rue...and also true for the thousands of post with photos in YT archives and for that matter in all other forums where the poster used Photobucket as the photo host site. Sucks don't it?! I don't remember exactly what those photos were, but generally what they would be & if you have something specific in mind I can post it in a different way or you can get some photos directly from me by using 'safe-mail' here on YT (my e-mail is open in Modern View).

Do have a picture or can you tell me how and where the unload valve contacts the cylinder body. I know it screws into the side wall of the housing and it has a tube which goes to the sump, but what does the other end connect to?

Sorry, I meant the back pressure valve not the unloading valve. Also does it have a rubber seal on the side where it mounts to the housing?
