I"m looking for lug nuts for a 1978 335 utility. New Holland is calling for part# c5nn1120d at $17 each. Looking at online parts stores some are saying c5nn1120F is the right one and they"re about $2 each. Does anyone know what the difference is and will the cheaper one work? They both have the same thread and look the same in the pictures, although they don"t give any dimensions. Thanks in advance.

Do you have the 24" rims and cast centers on that tractor? If so I think you need those special T shaped lugnuts where part of the nut fits into the cast center.
I have not seen a place where those were sold aftermarket and would guess the only place to buy them is the CNH dealer. $17 sounds about what they would likely charge.

They are 28" rims and the center/disc is steel. The nuts that are on there now are 1 5/16 across the flats and are tapered on one end to a lip of about 1" diameter. They basically look like a normal lug nut other than the lip on the end of the bevel. At first I though someone put them on backwards, bevel out, but they won"t work the other way with the lip on them.
