I set points to .025 I blew out radiator with air hose I can see thermostat open on the temp gauge. How do i check if water pump is circulating water properly? I will check carb and richen it up and see what happens.

Pull the radiator cap off then start it and when the thermostat opens you should see coolant moving. Another thing to check is make sure the fan belt is nice and tight. A slipping belt will slow down the fan and that can cause it to run hot also
