What Industrial do I have?

I bought what I think is a 545 around 1980, but not sure. I found 5 sets of numbers, on the left side is:

"9L21B"
"J7OG11"

on the left side is:

"DD314K"
"OA17B"
"*C634301*"

Anybody know what I got and when it was built?

Thanks so much for solving this mystery. And yes my tractor has everything you say. Now I'm wondering if I have the correct engine as my dealer says the injection pump (per the attached tag) is from a 3000. I contacted my local dealer and gave them the engine casting # and engine serial number but they can't determine.

While the serial number "C634301* looks to be a late 1979 serial number according to the lists on most web sites, The Unit number, 0A17B says that it rolled off the assembly line on January 17 1980 during the day shift, so those serial number lists out in the the internet may need to be corrected.

Just above the oil pan (on the left side I think) there should be numbers stamped in the block that will identify the engine. Also I agree with Sean after looking at your numbers again, it actually came off the assembly line in January 1980.

The engine serial number can't tell you what model engine it is, but the casting number of the block should be able to tell someone with the proper reference materials. Post the casting number here and someone might be able to help.

The 545 should have come from the factory with a 201 ci engne, the same as the 4000 and 4600. The engine and/or fuel injection pump may have been swapped out at some point though.

Thanks again gentlemen. I cleaned up the block today and here"s the #"s I found:

Left side of engine has a raised casting number of "T6"

Right side of engine has large raised casting number "D4NN6015F"

A plate that was installed with a couple screws has "4K22"

A circular plate with a center screw, looks like it could be turned and has the numbers 0-9. It"s set to a mark halfway between 5 and 6.

Stamped number where the block mates with the oil pan of "C679302"

3 sets of stamped numbers where the front of the engine bolts to the frame has "F", then below that is "60L14", and below that is "4L5B"

Interesting note: I have done a good amount of repairs, installing parts, sandblasting parts , painting and replacing and have never come across any Blue paint anywhere. Looks like 2 different coats of similiar yellows and underneath red primer.
