heres a picture of the ford 602 corn picker thaqt followed me home today. has mount brkts for 6000 so im going to try find one to put it on. hope to pick a little and show a little.

I can solve your problem of finding a tractor to go with it, I'll just take the picker off your hands. Great find!!! One for a 6000 is on my list of things to find. I've got a lead on a couple 2 rows in a shed for a 901.

I have a feeling that mounting kits to mount a 602 on a 6000 are few and far between. When working at a dealership 45 years ago, put two such kits on 6000s for the 602 picker(with 12 row husking beds) That side elevator extension was a bare cat to reach to get the bolts in. We made a special jig.

Oh, I could get you one with your checkbook...but I don't think you'll be driving this one home! It's been sitting in the same spot for upwards of 3 years.

The attached pictures are of a model 601 mounted picker. Many parts are similar to the 602 however the one row is much easier to mount. The pictures are from this fall, I picked several loads of corn to grind for feed.
Dad had a 601 which was later replaced with a 602. The pickers had a good rep in this area.
Good luck with yours I am sure you will enjoy it much more once it is off the trailer.
