Well finally got the 7710 back together after working on it over the winter. The pto clutch had been forced together resulting in bent clutch plates, damaged seal rings and messed up snap rings on the shaft to the reduction gears. All that is fixed, or at least better than the last guy did!
But now the dual power won"t shift. Worked fine when I pulled it out of the shop. Started it later and worked only for a few minutes since. 12.25 volts to the solenoid, 140psi (manual says it should be 150) on the gage but it did not change when shift the switch. Pto drops the gauge but comes right back up and 4wd raises it 7# or so. Any thoughts. So close to being done, but so far away...
