Ford 641 and 8N Inquiries...

It's Lance, AGAIN, with a few other questions.

1. What engine oil does a Ford 641 take, and, where does it go in?

2. What engine oil does a Ford 8N, and, where does it go in?

3. Though this should go in the "Paint and Bodywork" section, I was

wondering: When using MAJIC Paint, a generic brand, is "Ford Light Gray"

and "Ford Red" okay for colors on a FORD 8N? I am looking to restore the

8N later this month, or possibly even later in May/June/July---but, before it

gets scorching hot, in our humid Ohio summers.

4. What do you do for a radiator cap on an 8N that vibrates around 360 degrees while running?

On both the oil goes in on the front left of the engine. You will see a tube coming up that has a cap looking thing on it. Do not remove the wing nut just pull the whole thing up and out to add oil. As for the oil any good 10W30 or such or a 30W oil will be just fine

Ya I was not 100% sure on the 641 and did not go and look at my 841 to see where it was on it but did look on the 8N so guess I am at least 50% correct as for which side LOL
