Does this look like a Hi Crop to you?

And if so, do you think it's a factory unit or an
aftermarket conversion. I assume the rear spinouts
are not Ford factory.

Hello Jim , Yes it does appear to be an original Ford High Crop Conversion , especially because you can not see any welding / lengthening of the front spindles and housing which was common on aftermarket kits , so I would say that they are Ford . If you had the the model number and serial number we would know for sure , High Crops also had a different rear axle ratio from standard 701 / 901 Row Crops . The step on the frame rail appears to be Ford 6000 . The rear wheel centers look like Ford with spin out adapters bolted to them to be used with the rail type rims probably done by a dealer or owner . Thanks Tony

Jim,
How about the drawbar in Pic 3?! I bet if you hooked a manure spreader full of S*** to that one, it would bend in half!
With those oversized wheels I guess it needed to be that long.

Too far away and too much money. Plus I don't "need"
it. I want it for sure, but I'm still unemployed and
my tractor fund has nowhere near that amount of
money in it.

That can't be a factory drawbar.... height might be about right, but it's way too far back to use the PTO. And with that much length, it would add lots of leverage...I can see a broken drawbar hanger if any real weight is put on it.
Also notice no 3-point arms.

He doesn t mention it in the ad and the pictures don t show it (perhaps intentionally?) but it is a SOS tractor.

Hello Jim , Don't you just love it when nobody even bothers to answer the posted question . The tractor also appears to a late 1959 or early 1960 tractor because it still has the original Aluminum Rain cap on it , so it may not have very many hours on it because the hinge pin on the cap would wear through the Aluminum very fast so the reason for the change over to steel rain caps . Thanks Tony

Hello Show , Is the snow starting to melt up there yet ? It is mostly gone here just piles left . What I meant was if you follow many of the questions the original question posted never gets answered , it always gets off topic with other questions or comments . Thanks Tony
