NAA Pressure Plate Fork Adjustment

I am ine the middle of a clutch and pressure plate replacement on my NAA tractor.I have researched and read the posts about adjusting the forks.I believe they are to be 2" above the surface of the fly wheel. My problem is how do you do this. I see one bolt above each finger.

The bolt turns in threads in the stamped part that it is in. I expect that the special tool or jig that Ford had would make it a lot easier. I did one last year using straight edge across the bell housing and measuring from the edge to the bolt head with a tape measure. Just measure from the flywheel to the straight edge, then deduct two inches and you will have the bolt to straight edge measurement. You will want to renew the locking juice before closing it up. I think that your best bet would be the Loc-Tite product for already assembled parts.

Thanks for the replys I did not have to adjust them. Tractor is back together and I drove it last night. Worst part of the job was when I broke a pressure plate bolt off in the flywheel and had to drill it out and tap it. thanks again.
