Need some advice on removing the axle trumpet from 631. Take the wheel off and drain oil from dif and remove the nuts from dif. From there on I don't know if the axle will just slide out

From what I can see in the I-T manual yes the axle should just slide right out as a whole assembly with the trumpet

have a cherry picker and load levler handy and be carefull... that trumpet, axle nad brake assy w/hub is quite a chunk of metal.
