Thanks! I must have overlooked it when I was on the new holland site last night.
Hopefully it's just a missing retainer. Maybe I'll see if I can get the borescope down in there and see what's going on.
The biggest thing is the pia factor in splitting it (again). I just got done doing a forward split to do the motor. At least this would be a bit easier since it runs and I can get the loader and hoe off first. The engine I had to do with it assembled on the trailer.
Probably it's just going to stay the way it is for a while since it does run and work, just don't have all the gear anymore.
Does anyone have any pictures of how the band and retainer fit together and into the case?

On a slightly different tangent, does anyone know a good source for a new s-o-s shifter? Mine is funky and missing a bunch of parts.

The ONLY potential source for new S-O-S shifter parts (aside from selector caps and (maybe) handles) is CNH.

Some are still available, All are expensive.

The only other alternative is used.

Sorry, I meant good used. New it'd probably cost more than I paid for the whole tractor.

There is/was one on the n/w WI craigslist, in Phillips, WI. I though it was priced a bit high.
