Plow blade

Anybody know where there is one of the snow plow blades for sale that I can put on the front of a 861.

This should fit, it is minus the blade but it is a start.

The blade will be easier to find than the frame and controls. Not my ad.

I have one that might work in Central Michigan.
It would need some modification, it came off a 3000.

The frame advertised is for the 3 cylinder tractors 2000, 3000, 4000 and takes considerable cutting and modification to the front mounting plate to fit the hundred series. Also because the hydraulic lift is solid at the top, sometimes there is clearance problems with the upper grill. Just know what you may be getting into.

Jon, I don't really have any experience with a front mount but I use a back blade on my 861. Used it a couple times this year with absolutely no problem moving heavy, wet snow. Never even put the chains on, just added about 400# of weight to the drawbar. Worked fine with the 3 pt. and no fussin with hydraulics.

Nice looking tractor Tom.
I didn't mount my front plow this year so am using just the back blade.
Back blade does ok but I really did miss the front plow.
Front plow is more versatile, easier to use and will push your piles higher.

Ok. You sold me. Looks like it would be easier. Now I just have to find one too!

FWIW,
The snow plow from an N series, Hundred and Thousand are all the same. The frames and lifting mechanisms, etc are all different but the plow itself will interchange.
So if you found the frame this year and plow the next it's still worth putting the package together.
