One arm loader

Dad has a golden 971 with a one arm loader for it. The brackets were not with the loader when he bought it and so he made some. He is not real happy with the quality of them and is thinking about looking up a set and buying them. Any idea what he could expect to pay, ballpark? Any ideas where to start looking? thinking about putting an ad on here if the price isn't too scary.

The bracket for the trans is the same for the standard Ag utility and the row crop models. You will have to measure your mounting box to see if you have the long or short box so you get the proper bracket for your appication. On the short box the bracket is more offset.
The flat stock steel could be made.
The front bracket is the hard one to obtain.
I would check tractor slavage yards, Place an ad, ebay, CL.
Since a lot of time tractors are sold and the brackets stay with the tractor I would also look at RC ads to see if the tractor has them and than ask if the owner is interested in selling the brackets separately.
In most cases the brackets aren't cheap.
Here is a photo of my 950 with the brackets on. You can see the offset trans bracket because my loader has the short box.
Some of the guys on this forum have made the front brackets. some may not be pretty but serve the purpose.

you can start looking.. but don't hold your breath.

the front bracket is probably the most rare.. but also the easiest to make correctly.

the tranny or hip bracket is hardest to make.. but a lil more common.

as said. the 1-arm laoder came in a short and long box version. long box for the 48-64 models.. and short box for the 65+

i've attached 3 pics.

1 shows the regular ag chassie bracket set. the hip bracket will work on the rowcrop

next pic is similar to kirks extende dhip bracket for a short box. 3rd pic shows my 951 witht he front hanger bracket.. and my big 3/4" ratched hanging off a bolt on the hip bracket.

now.. with a rowcrop you have the unique opportunity to build the hip bracket and make it work. on an ag chassis there is a steering arm on the left side int he way and it's hard to scab one up. with a rowcrop and no steering arm onthe left. you CAN make up a good strong repop hip bracket and be fine.

I have a couple of brackets,don't know what they fit, don't know where I got them. Looks like one has been broken and rewelded. I don't need them,open to offers. E-mail open.

I don't believe the ones you are showing will fit his 4cyl. I think they are from a later model.

some 3 cyl brackets.. deffinately won't help the guy with the 971
