I have a Ford 3000, if I turn my tractor to the left or the right, the front tires slide. What could be making my tractor slide when turning to the left or right? If I drive my tractor forward, it doesn't slide.

Sounds like they are out of line, or the worm gear is worn out
in the gear box. Jack the front up so both tires are clear of
ground. Have some one stabilize one side then turn. Steering
wheel side to side. Look for excess play in ball joints and all
linkage. If the play is in the gear box itself, you will need the
manual for that model tractor for repair. Lower tractor back
down and check for correct toe-in. Usually that is about one
half inch+or-. Measuring from center of tire tread parallel to
the ground at center wheel hub height.
Note. It always helps to know the tractor details. 4cyl or 3cyl
and if it has power steering.

can you define slide a lil bit more.

are you saying if you steer hard right or left, the tractor goes straight and the tires just skidd?

if so.. check youer diffy lock.

are you saying the front tires are not timed well to each other or have a hard degree of toe in / out and when one is turning the other is scuffing?

or?

or?

yeah.. differential lock is stuck engaged.. oil the plunger and get it to pop back out and then drive it a bit to unlock the rear wheels.
