Hi Group, A friend of mine is doing an engine refurb and he has a couple questions for an experienced Ford guy. The tractor is a Golden Jub 600, 1966, Engine is 134.
If anyone would consider calling him, pls email me. I will give number. Thanks so much.

Plus, in 1965 they changed to a completely different "thousand" series. The 62-64 thousand series were the 4 cylinder 2000 and 4000 models, and the 65+ thousand series were the 3 cylinder 2000/3000/4000 models plus the 4 cylinder 5000, and later (1971-1975) the 4 cylinder 7000 as well. They also made a 6 cylinder 6000 from around 1961 through 1967.

So if it's a 1966 tractor, it could be a 3 cylinder 2000, 3000 or 40000, or a 4 cylinder 5000 or a 6 cylinder 6000, or maybe a 4 cylinder 2000 or 4000 as they did make special runs of the earlier 4 cylinder 2000/4000 models into 1967 or so.

So what is it. Jubilee was only made in 1953. The 600 was made from 1955 to 1957. Then in 1966 that would be a maybe 2000 since the last year of the 601 series was 1962 so what the heck is it because from what you say it can not be any thing that ever was made by Ford
Time line here
1953 Jubilee
1954 NAA
1955-1957 600 series
1958-1962 601 series
after 62 came out the thousand series

so far you've described 3 tractors.

a jubilee is the 53 year model of the NAA series. 134ci red tiger engine. late 52-54 years

a 600 is a series for year models 55-57 also a 134 red tiger.

a 1966 tractor will be a thousand series .. in fact.. 65+ will be... models were 2000-3000-4000 and were 3 cyl..e tc. there were larger ones too.. 5000 4 cyl.. etc.. etc..

so.. what ya go.. really?
