Bit the bullet and pulled the lift top to replace the seals on the lift cylider. The lift lift control shaft coming through the lift cover has slop between the shaft and the lever that fits on it inside the cover. I have another shaft and lever from a 660. Can I change shaft and levers and not have to worry about resetting all the clearance. Hope I am making sense. Thanks in advance |

| Is the pin available or should I just braze it and the file/grind it round and smooth? |

| | ditto what dean said. lift cover kit is 15 $.. don't half arse the job.. do the cam pin and cam if needed ( braze / weld / grind ).. then repalce all orings and piston seal/washer.. readjust using alt method without nuday tools.. etc. be good another 50 ys after that. |

| | You need to replace the cam follower pin and readjust the draft and position control adjustments while the lift cover is off in any event. Dean |
