Roosa Master Pump Need Max Fuel Delivery Setting

Rebuilding A pump on a 901 ford Pump is Roosa # DBGVCC4 29. Have all the kit and the updated EID retainer to remove the old flex ring . I would like to check the max fuel setting while im inside. I do not have a book however on these pumps any help is appreciated.

Diesel tech. I have repaired several of these simple roosa pumps and cav pumps. I always check the max fuel setting while I'm there and adjust it accordingly. Here is my question. I plan on adding a turbo to this tractor. If I was wanting to richen the pump up a little is this where the adjustment would be made. Would I go up or down on the max fuel setting . Or should I just leave it alone.

How much power increase are you looking for with the turbo added? 10 to 15% MAY be OK on this engine. Just my opinion, but any more on this engine you may drive over the crank. I had one apart, had a spun rod bearing. Also had a Standard Motors 23C apart for overhaul, it had much stronger rods. Was planning on adding a turbo to the 172, but parted it out instead. Still thinking of charging the Ferguson though. I would tighten your leaf spring for 1.975 RR setting. Then watch boost on PTO dyno and see what you have.
