Nice looking cab.I don't know how it will work as a ROPS.Looks to weak but this is my opinion.Hopefully you will never find out.

Looks great! How did you hinge and latch the doors?
Do they open to the front like a car door or the the rear?

Nice looking shop built cab. Is it very noisy inside of it with engine running? What is the purpose of the big blue hook on the center link mounting bracket?

I hate to burst your bubble but that cab has absolutely no roll over protection at all . If you looked at a REAL ROPS Bar before you built it you would see that the bar and the mounting is about 4 times the size of what you have on your cab(or you could have intergrated a real rops bar into your cab) . While it will keep you out of the weather and warm and you may not get hurt if something small falls on it don't rely on it to do much if you roll over . Unfortunately you just may find out fast how it will crush if you start towing from your big blue hook mounted that high on the rear axle housing . YOU NEVER EVER TOW ANYTHING FROM THAT HIGH OF A MOUNTING POSITION UNLESS YOU WANT TO FLIP THE TRACTOR OVER BACKWARDS . Having grown up in the Family Logging Business and rolling over one of our John Deere 548 Graple/Cable Skidders once and laying our John Deere 643 C Shear Head on its side shearing Red Pine for Telephone Poles I know what it takes to survive a roll over and that is not it so you best be careful and not get to brave with it . Thanks Tony

I agree on the big blue hook. That's the reason I inquired about it. A total No-No for pulling anything.

714_run,

Very nice work on your tractor, it looks great. Based on your photos, it appears you have some time in the seat and know how to properly use it. We do get some folks with less experience here, so safety issues are commonly pointed out, though that looks like a fine place to carry your tow hook, assuming the operator knows good pulling practices, which you clearly do. With the wheel weights, front bumper set-up and cab, you are set for just about anything. I'm betting you have a set of chains for it as well, which pretty well completes the package. Nice tractor, thanks for sharing.
