Can someone help me . how much oil goes in the back end of a ford 4.000 i am going to put in 15-30 oil thanks neil |

| If it's a 3-cylinder, it takes 7 quarts in the crankcase (with filter change), 13.8 quarts in the transmission, and either 26.25 ('65 through 7-19- 68)or 33.9 (7-20-68 and later) quarts in the hydraulics and rear end. I would NOT use 15w40 in the rear end (or tranny). Use 134D compatible hydraulic/transmission oil. |

| | as has been said.. if a 3 cyl.. it's 65+ perhaps you should post a pic of your machine. you are completely unfamiliar with them. use only a utf fluid inthe rear / hyds. |

| If it's a 3 cylinder, then it has to be 1965 or newer. |
