Got a new drag link today, one end next to the clutch other end disapears under the frount of the tractor. Is there a trick or do I start wrenching?

Center the steering. There is a hole in the bottom of the bolster you can use to access the nut on the drag link end. remove the nut and using a bottle jack and cribbing, jack against the threads where the nut came off, putting just a little pressure on the rod end. Remove grille and sheet metal cover in front of radiator. Give the bellcrank arm a good wallop or two right next to the drag link end with a steel drift and the biggest hammer you can swing with one hand. It should pop loose.
