The pump has plenty of internal wear, in fact it's now on it's way for a rebuild. I didn't think 30 degrees was too far out of line, since many of the AC engines from the sixties and seventies ran pumps with no advance mechanisms and most were timed from 28 to 32. If 24 is the correct spec, I can go with that when I put it back. Thanks
