Identifying Ford model 20312

I recently acquired a Ford tractor represented as a 641 workmaster. I purchased it for the condition rather than what is was represented to be. Originally the tractor had blue running gear, it has the 4 speed, pto, hydraulic lift, also has the fine spline rear axles. I need help identifying what the tractor really is as the model number is 20312 with the serial # stamped underneath the model number (both sets of numbers are very clearly stamped). Any suggestions? I have checked www.external_link but the number is not listed. Thanks for your help.

Kensel,

You have likely purchased a 641 with a replacement transmission from a 1962' 2000 tractor OR the tractor is actually an industrial low-center of gravity (LCG) 2000 with 641 "tin" on it. Here is a [color=red:c3fc037e4e]link[/color:c3fc037e4e] to a good site that has some info up through the 4 cylinder thousand series.

If you post a pic, it will be easy for others here to let you know which you have, the ag 641 w/ replacement tranny or a 62' LCG 2000.

Chris

ditto on the pic.. however the LCG should be easy to spot if you are familiar with the regula 00/01 ag chassis.

A tractor with that model number would not have originally been blue, nor should it have had a PTO. As has been said, the tractor has been modified somehow.

The model respresented by that number is a 1960 -1962 2000 light industrial lowcenter of gravity with no PTO.

Perhaps the PTO has been added, or the transmission has been transplanted from another tractor.
