My 961 is in storage so I can't get the number.I will have 2 loader tractors soon so I will be selling the one on the 961.

711 one arm bandit. If you buy one make sure you get all the brackets because they are not easy to come by. I'm in the process of putting one on my 950.

Here's a pic of a 711 trip loader. Not the heaviest duty loader, but a good match for these tractors.

I have a 19-93 on my 960. They were made for this tractor and are VERY easy to mount and dismount - only 2 pins and the hose. I had a one-armed loader and like this much better - just my opinion. If you can find one I think you would like it!

not as good as a 2 poster weigth wise.. but as your pic with that stump shows.. they will do work.

I move 4x5 round bales with mine.. it is at the edge of it's capacity.. but it does it. I'm sure that stump is hefty!

711 and 722 are the ford 1 arms. a 711 would be what a rowcrop would normally mount, as the 722 came with a pump that was crank driven and as sucjh would not be compatible with a rowcrop.. however.. no reason you couldn't mount the 722 anyway and not use the pump and integral sump in the frame.

I have seen the one arm loaders in the past, not on tractors, but i thought they were set up primarily for the N Series. Are they very durable?

Thank you, I just learned something on the one arm loaders and designated numbers. My next step is understanding my 960 and what you said about how they operate. I really have alot of learning to do.

If I found one, and me not knowing anything about them, I would want to find one mounted on a tractor so I could see what all the brackets are needed. If I found one in laying in someone's backyard I would not know what I might be missing.

(quoted from post at 20:59:14 01/18/13) Need help on understanding 701 FEL...a one arm loader?

I have a 701. It was new on grandpa's 871 tractor. It is not a one arm. It stradles the tractor with mounts under the rear axle and is also attached to the steering frame on front of the engine on an all purpose.

I believe someone said 711 is the one arm.

(quoted from post at 20:35:54 01/18/13) When you say 701 series and model 19-124 that this loader was designed specifically for the 701 tractor?

Nope! The 701 was the loader model. It fit the all purpose and apparently there was a row crop version from 55 - 64.

i love ford rowcrops from 55-64

they are my FAVORITE machine.. both narrow and wide fronts.

I'm trying to bring a 960 home this week if the owner will let it go.

my daily mower is a 950.. and I have a 63 4000 wf that does other pasture maint. great machines.

no, the tag on loader says

series 701 model 19-124
serial #

it will fit all prior model row crop tractors
700,701,900,901,2000, 4000. tractors

mount 3 brackets to your tractor,
drive in to loader install 2 pins
connect hyd hoses and drive away to use loader

I am in central ia about 25 miles so of Des Moines, and I have two one arm bandits, and a two post full frame loader to fit the row crops with trip bucket like the one pictured below. Might even be able to convert it to hyd bucket real easy cause I have a utility loader with full width hyd bucket.

Let me speak with someone on this...unfortunately I get only half say in something like, even though it is only a loader.

I doubt it's quite that simple on most row crops. Most of them, at least all mine, have vertical exhaust. This would have to be removed for a drive-in as you describe it.

My advice on the one-arm loader would be to make sure you also get the rear counter weight. I did not have one or any weight on/in the rear tires and I think that is what I did not care for because I have a side hill I must drive on when leaving my shop and always worried about being so heavy on one side. If side hills are not a problem the one armed are great.
Just my opinion, and maybe those with more experience w/the one armed will correct my side hill fears!

Here are a couple of the the brackets needed for the 711 one arm loader hook up. The others are flat steel strap brackets that can easily be made. Note; My hip bracket is offset because I have the later style short box. the long box bracket will look a lot flatter.

it doesn't have a cross bar at dash level like the 701 for the all-purpose? seems like pic in this thread shows one. those did not clear the vertical exhaust height on our tractors.
