I was wondering if it was possible to put rear auxiliaries on a Ford 3000c which is an industrial tractor. The tractor has pto and three point. It has a loader but runs off the front pump. I didn't know if the lift cover had a spot to put the valve on it.

Well since it has a 3 point good chance you can. If I still had the 300 I worked on here I could tell you more but it is gone now and so is the manual

I've never heard of a 3000C but if it's a Ford and if it has 3 point then you can install a remote valve on the top cover - kinda under your thighs as you are sitting in the seat.

I've never herd of a 3000C either. Post some pictures of it, and the numbers stamped into the flat spot of the transmission bell housing just toward the rear of the tractor from the starter.

I decided to put a single remote on my '65 3000D. I went to the Ford/NH dealer and inquired about an adapter plate that mounts right where you see the OEM valves in the picture in this thread.

All you do is lift the cover up, slide in the adapter and reinstall the cover with adequate length screws and appropriate gasketing.

Then you 1/2" pipe from the ports to your open center remote (supply and return). I built a 4" extension for the fender on the left side and moved it out so that I could set the remote right where I drop my left hand.....nice and convenient. I went to TSC and bought the Cross single remote and all the other necessary hoses and couplings. I think I have $200 in parts from TSC and paid $75 for the used adapter at the dealer. I went with 1/2" hoses as I didn't know if 3/8 would supply enough fluid and the pump on those tractors isn't very big, 8gpm I think, and I wanted to get all of it I could.

Now in answer to your question. The adapter that the dealer sold me was OEM Ford YELLOW and it and the paint were used! Hope that answers your question.

Alright Bradley. I hate to be a liar and hate to put out erroneous information when I am trying to help someone solve a problem.

Today I got the digital camera and went out and took some "flicks" (yankee term for photographs....I was in the service with them and learned of the term).

It has been several years since I converted my tractor so I thought I would show you what I did. I did make one mistake in what I said earlier. Apparently I bought an adapter ( where the hoses are connected on top of the tractor housing), and a cover plate. For some reason the OEM cover plate didn't work......The Ford dealer told me that.

I took a pic of my 2000D 4 cyl. to show you what the 3000 looked like before I started. I then took a few pics of my installation. It's dirty, but I am working it daily and things, as you know, get dirty.

Hope I can get the pics transferred.
