I am having some parts painted on my 70's Fords and I need a paint code for the light grey on these tractors. I have found many codes on the internet but, I can't verify the right one. The local fleet farm only carry's the darker 8N/Jubilee gray and I want the right lighter color. Thank you |

| It is generally referred to on the can at CNH as 1963 on white. |

| The guy that is shooting the paint needed a number to cross reference it to a automotive brand of paint as he don't want to use the CNH paint (don't know why). The CNH number should help him. Thanks again! |

The 1963 on is not a paint number. If I were you I would take him a can of it and tell him that you want him to paint a flat surface with it and then get the jobber to digitally analyze and duplicate it. I have gotten the impression that the guys at the stores don't want to be bothered with numbers anymore. When I got the 1958 on red for my 901 there was no code on the label, and when I asked about it he said when you need more just bring in a piece and we'll duplicate it again. |
