DaveH IA 01-04-2013 05:03:55 71.7.102.199 Report to Moderator	Couple years ago I bought a Commander gas that someone adjusted the rear band (I was told) and the adjuster is way to short now to get the lock nut on. Pushed her in the shop yesterday to warm up. Thinking the adjuster wedge fell to the bottom. Never been in one of these trans before (won't leearn any younger) I have been studying the ford service manual and I talked to Tony Jacobs yesterday Im diving in ---been workin on things for almost 50 years and I figure If A Man Made It A Man Can Fix It [/b] [Reply]   [No Email]

After draining the fluid, Pull the screen and prob around the bottom with a flexible magnetic pick-up. That's usually where that band adjustment dog ends up. Have fun.   [Reply]  [No Email]
