ford manure spreader

I have come across what I believe is a ford manure spreader. Does anyone have any pictures or model information on these machines. The only indication that I have that it is a ford is a small amount of ford blue paint that remains on it and the farmer that had it was an all ford man.
Any info that anyone could pass on to me on this piece would be greatly appreciated

The only Ford spreaders I've seen were old enough to be red. Without seeing it, I'd guess you've found a Big Blue, built by Cobey (I think), and sold trough Ford dealers. My Grandpa had one in the '70's, and there are pictures in some of my old Ford sales literature. There are sometimes manuals and sales literature available on ebay.

Ford built a PTO spreader in the early sixtys, built in Des Moines, at the old dearborn plant. In fact, I know were there is one, in the shed less than a mile from me.It is painted blue and the Ford oval real ledgable on eithr side. They came without tires and we had to put used 22.5 truck tires on drop center rims. What a job

Here's is one from the early 50's. Propably red but like a lot of red ford tractor that were painted blue by dealers to make them look like newer models anything is possible.
