Hey Larry,

I'm guessing just ornery !! :D
You guys probably got hit pretty good didn't you? We got 2"-4" down towards St. Joseph with 30-50 mph winds. Made for a tense drive to work, more vehicles off the road than on  . Most trouble was due to the combination of "first snow" (dumb drivers), poor, poor visibility (25 feet or less at times) and pretty slick conditions. They hadn't hardly touched the hwy or interstate. I-29 was pretty much one lane and then cars and tractor trailers all over. Both northbound and southbound I-29 were closed for a few hours this morning to clean up all the stuck vehicles.

I left home around 5:50 am and got to work around 7:30 am, typically a 35 minute drive. If I had known the conditions of the roads (weren't bad up home), I never would have come in this morning. It was difficult enough I felt I had a better chance of pushing on than stopping somewhere to try and turn around. Went through about an 18" - 24" deep drift (in my 95' Geo Prizm  ) getting on the interstate. If I'd have booged down or spun out, I would have ruined a LOT more days, as I wouldn't have been easy to go around. At any rate I used my head and more than anything, got really lucky.
