8000 back up and running

Took my head off lapped the valves replaced a bent push rod and new air cleaner and new head bolts. all of this made it start a bit easier then before and is deffenantly throatier! But Im thinking I have a bad set of injectors. Smokes a LOT of white and black cold started and doesnt want to rev or run smooth till its warmed up even at 60 degrees. Acts the same down to 30. Starts up in the summer easy but the problem is still noticable when you rev it. I got a tw35 injector pump on stock injectors. Thinking there leaking down because when its hot it still smokes a little white at idol. Not compression because you need a pry bar on the alternator to turn it over and hisses from inside the motor. Great compression. going to due 4x.22 injectors.

The later Minimec pumps required an oil supply line as there is no sump in these like the older Simms that was on the 8000.

How did you plumb this in when there is no port on the 8000 block for this line? I have a pump from a 8830 that I want to put on our 9000 and this is what is holding me up from doing this.

i have a 1969 model, mine had the port. I just got a tw35 oil line and bolted it all up and made a custom throttle line. If you want i can post a picture. My friend had this problem with his 9600 no having the port. He took brake line and ran it from the other side of his block from the oil pressure gauge.
