Who was the fellow who was looking for the hip bracket for an NAA Jube here a couple of weeks ago.
Timber?
Guess what I came across today?

yep.. that's it.

it's actually easy to copy that one with 1/2" plate and a welder, and a piece of thick walled pipe. I helped a guy on 'the other board' do up a NAA from scratch. i templated my plate that went under the steering box and that bracket. rest of the stuff is stock 711/722

that's a nice piece. you are sure to sell it... if it doesn't sell.. I'd even buy it from ya.. :)

Yes, that's it. Where did you find it? If you are selling it, I'm interested. Thanks for showing a good photo of it.

UD used to be big into the 1-arm loaders. he's the reason I got into them... He's probably got tons of stuff kicking around.

ow all you have to do is take some 1/4" sheet steel, and use the steering box as a hole template.. and that bracket.. and make a connector plate that goes under the steering box to the lip on that bracket.. and you are pretty well set.. the naa front hanger bracket is the same as the later series.. and is torchable from 1/2" plate.. and the lil lower strap bracket is torchable from 3/8 plate.. and can be measured adn cut to fit easilly.

with that bracket you are almost home..

It belongs to a friend of mine.
I saw it in a pile of stuff in his shop and though I'd never seen one I recognized it right away as a hip bracket. Didn't know if it was for a Dexta or a Jube
I borrowed it to get some photos of it and if someone were interested in better photos I can take some.
Wouldn't this fit on a 600 too?
I didn't think to ask if it was for sale.
I will call him about that.

nope.. it's a naa/jube only deal. the 55-64 machines all took a different one.

that one has a tube ont he bottom for a single bolt going along the plane of the bracket, and that lip ont he back hookes to a flat plate that is sandwiched under the steering box... a jube has no upper holes in it's bellhousing like a 55+ does.

a bracket for a 55+ has 3 holes. 2 at the top for the top of the bellhousing at the squared off boss where the sn is, and a lower single hole. all go thru and intersect the plane of the body of the bracket, vs running parallel to it.

it's a nice find.

like I said. it can be duped.. i helped someone dupe one.. but it's nicer to find one premade.

and the brackets for the jube, 8n and dexta are virtualy unobtanioum nowadays..

The front bracket for a 3 cyl 2/3000 with the light bolster is made of the same material.
I've seen one of these NAA brackets now.
I still haven't seen a real one of those.
