Topic: can anyone help with ford super dexta inj pump?

I did the ultimate no no and ran out of fuel. Tractor wont start, bled lines, cleaned filters, then did the wrong thing and took pump top off. Was gettin fuel to one cyl, now nuttin. Maybe i didnt get rods back in right? How do i fix?? Shop wants 800 bucks to just look at it!! Please help! |

| I have a (about '54 super Dexta; I ran it out of fuel ONCE! I also have the "Operator's Instruction Book" & find it invaluable when I have trouble; probably no longer available. Next best thing I'd say is an IT service manual, if there is one. Here's a couple of pages from my Dexta book related to bleeding, etc., may be of help. With Xmas just around the corner, a guy doesn't want to have to spend a bundle on an old tractor! |

| Yep, I have three manuals. I finally got fuel to 1 cyl, but nuttin to the other two. Ive bled lines and have alot of pressure but only on first cyl. Dont know what to do next. |
