2N sleeve disappeared!

My "new" 2N #165641 was running fine, good oil pressure, etc. and suddenly started a loud knock. My SIL was driving & shut it off immediately. I just pulled the head & the #1 sleeve is gone. Can I just replace the sleeve & rings in that cylinder or am I in for a complete OH? Any advice is appreciated!

You may get by doing that but the engine could be off balance by doing so due to having one new cylinder and 3 old wore cylinders

not gone.. but liekly in the oil pan.

I"d top the top and bottom.. check the bore and piston.. and at least flush the oil system.. no doubt it sucked up metal particles.

check the other jugs... if all are excessively worn.. do em all..

The many parts of the sleeve are in the pan. Considering the engine was in good shape before, would one new sleeve and all new rings be a good fix?
What would cause this to shatter?

if the other 3 jugs are well within specs.. not just barely.. and comp is well above minimum.. I might do one lung and go.. assuming no block and rod damage..

my 9n broke a piston ring and messed up #3 sleeve. I only replaced #3 and all the rings.I had to sand thr ends of the rings to get the pistons back in. it runs fine.
